We want
volunteers!

The world of EVE needs you! Passion, positivity, dedication and expertise are all things we know you as EVE players have in abundance, so we’d love for you to bring those elements to our Volunteer Program. You can help make the EVE experience bigger, better and brighter by lending your precious free time to the specialized teams within our Volunteer Program, such as news, fiction, support, quality assurance and communication. If you want to be a part of this fun, productive and enthusiastic group of volunteers, we want to know!

Volunteer teams

The Volunteer Program is split into various teams, each with their own area of specialism

ECAID is the volunteer team that works closely with CCPs QA department, testing new features and verifying bug reports for all new patches and expansions.

CCL is the group of volunteers working together with CCP's community team to improve the communication between the player community and CCP.

New Eden Correspondents specialize in reporting news and creating fiction for the EVE universe. They will find, research and report stories, as well as focus on all required lore.

STAR is the branch of the volunteer program that helps with player support. They specialize in helping players, new and old with any questions or problems they may have.

The LOC team provides volunteer support for the EVE Online localization department across various community projects. If you are a linguist or a communicator at heart and want to make EVE Online more accessible to players in your language, please apply here!

Applying for the Volunteer Program

To be eligible for the Volunteer Program, you must be aged 18 or over and have an active EVE Online account. If that sounds like you, we'd love for you to fill out an online application, choosing the team that you feel you could best contribute to.

Once you have applied, we will ask you a few short questions and walk you through the application process. Applicants will be subject to a background check pertaining to their activities within EVE Online and the community.

Successful applicants will be required to sign Volunteer Program Terms of Service and Non Disclosure Agreements, then they can start using their knowledge and experience for the benefit of the EVE community!
